TVH Forklift Parts NV (TVH) has taken over the worldwide material handling activities of IMC Holding Inc.
TVH and IMC are both active in the distribution and sales of replacement parts and accessories for all brands of forklift trucks, aerial platforms and in-plant industrial equipment.
IMC, established in 1961, is among others active in the market via subsidiaries and brands such as LPM, INTRUPA and CMC. The consolidated turnover of IMC in 2005 was approximately $100 million (USD). This sum was achieved mostly in the United States, Canada and Mexico. IMC also has companies in Brazil, Singapore and Europe.
In Europe, IMC is represented by Intrupa Nederland BV, Intrupa France BV, Intrupa UK BV and Intrupa GmbH.
As in many industries the material handling industry is also typically recognised as being increasingly global and the technology used within the equipment is becoming more advanced. These changes have made it imperative for TVH and IMC to invest in their growth and the consolidation of the two organizations was therefore inevitable.
The combined supply of products and services will permit TVH and IMC to offer a beneficial portfolio to their customers via an extended range of products with a larger distribution network and a step closer to a true “One Stop Shop” for replacement parts and accessories for material handling and in-plant industrial vehicles.
